But I am feeling settled and spacious and happy now. I think I might actually have more than 3 or 4 brain cells to actually write a complete sentence or two here every now and then. God has given Travis what I believe is a gift of favor with audiences and congregations. His approach permeates every denominational wall.
Ahhh, the blessing of time with the family…..time to ponder…. I'm an ocean girl and during the last trip we took to Myrtle Beach, we couldn't swim because of sharks. I never remember that growing up and I've gone there all my life. It has been a CRAZY year, with our move, with a new, very time-consuming job, and with the writing of the book.
Come Thou Long Expected Jesus / O Come Let Us Adore Him
And truth be told, there’s nothing that would make Travis happier than if you left an event where he led worship and couldn’t remember his name. Because more than anything, Travis longs for people to know, love and worship the Maker and Lover of our souls. That’s his passion, and ministering to God’s people is his great privilege.
But the most fun thing about that event was the fact that it was the first one my parents were able to attend. My mom’s health was already pretty quickly deteriorating , so it was a little bit of a stretch for them to travel to Charlotte and come to an event in a big arena. My dad proudly wheeled her around in a wheel chair. And he felt so special with the parking place we reserved for them.
Praise The King (Performance Trax/Live)
I haven’t lived there in 20 years, but something about being there, seeing the mountains and the water and breathing that Pacific Northwest air is just special. I feel it to the core of myself that regardless of geography, it will always be home. If you’d like to go, it’s not too late! I’ll never forget our first Living Proof Live event in Charlotte, NC. It was in June, 2001. We were in the middle of our 4th year serving with Beth Moore and LifeWay with Living Proof Live.
Speaking of marveling at things…on our second day we headed to the shore and quickly saw the “Hazardous Marine Life” flag billowing in the strong ocean breeze. I’m an ocean guy, and I’ve trained my kids to be the same. We love nothing more than bobbing up and down in the waves for hours on end. So our Tuesday morning dreams were shattered pretty quickly when we saw huge schools of tens of thousands of little minnow-looking fish. I’m talking fish as thick as the sand we were standing on.
Christmas is Real
We had already seen God do so much in the first 4 years of serving with Beth, we were google-eyed for most of the time. My mind is wandering to next week. We have a Living Proof Live event in Charlotte. I'm so happy you and your precious family were able to do this.

By the time our Charlotte event rolled around in 2001, Beth and our LifeWay LPL team felt like family. So I was pretty much on stun, and pumped to welcome my ministry family to the Motherland. I hope you all are having a good week. All is well here in the Cottrell household. We are working hard to stay cool…in the literal sense of the word.
Jesus Saves Live
Even better, I get to see my little sister. Best of all, I get to here a fresh word from the Lord through Beth Moore. Enjoy your time in Charlotte, may your voice be strong, your words ring with the Truth and God be richly glorified through your ministry there. It was the only LPL my mom was able to attend .
She had 4 days to learn about 40 songs. I’m so thankful for that prompting from the Lord. Mandisa sang with us for 5 years, and even managed our ministry office for much of that time.
New York Times bestselling author Karen Kingsbury is today's leading inspirational novelist, with over 25 million copies of her titles in print. In addition to writing, Karen is also an active public speaker, reaching more than 100,000 women annually through various national events. She lives and works outside Nashville, TN, with her husband Don and their five sons, three of whom were adopted from Haiti.

I would like to know the name of the song you sang before the break Friday night,my daughter was wanting her husband to hear it. We just found out that we are moving next week to a mere 45 minutes from Gulf Shores. Visited there a couple of weeks ago and the dangerous marine life one of our days were stingrays swimming among those millions of bait fish. Plenty of beautiful beaches that were safe, though.
